Giclee Fine Art papers - Which one is best for me?
We have three different fine art papers in this section. They are all accredited with the Fine Art Trade Guild and are Acid and Lignin free.
Soft Textured - A gorgeous soft, tactile paper that oozes quality. You really have to feel this paper to appreciate the fibrous feel. Highly suited to reproduction and watercolour work. It contains no optical brighteners (to enhance image life) and has a lovely natural white surface.
Photo Smooth High White Cotton - flat, stable and perfect for fine art portraiture, landscapes and contempory art imitation. Quite possibly the best fine art paper in the world for monochrome prints.
Canvas Fine Art - essentially the same as our popular Soft Textured paper but we have embedded a 'Buckram' canvas pattern into the fabric of the paper itself. This is an excellent route to producing canvas type prints that are not destined for stretching or if you do not a have a roll feed and prefer to sheet feed to achieve a canvas effect print.
All the above fine art papers are suitable for protecting and enhancing with our Giclee varnish.
